Vision and Mission Statements in Strategic Plans

In looking at the differences between vision and mission statements as part of strategic planning I have examined the collection management policy of a school library. This policy details the four aims of the school that drive educational practice, followed by a role statement for the library, as well as a mission statement. However, these statements are futuristic and stated as goals, in terms of what the library seeks to achieve.
