The role of the teacher librarian

My understanding of the role of the teacher librarian has been evolving continuously to come to the recognition that it is diverse, interesting and challenging. Students' results reflect skills and abilities acquired through learning; and teacher librarians are positioned to promote this learning through information literacy, and facilitate access to knowledge beyond the classroom walls.
